Crunch time

And we're down to the straight stretch. 35 weeks, 2 days...Our little girl will be here next month! I can't believe it's almost over. It really doesn't seem that it was nine months ago that Josh and I found out that we were going to be parents.

This is part I'm not very good at. We're just waiting now. Olivia is still growing, although it seems she's running out of room...and womb. On average, she's around 18 inches now, but our doctor says that Olivia will probably be smaller (I'm hoping so - easier delivery!).

My family helped out a lot with her room. We had to have sheet-rocking done before we could paint. My parents, as a gift, paid for that to be done, and then my sister and mom came in to paint the room for us. I love the way it turned out - it looks so good! My in-laws also had the windows replaced for us (our house is over 80 years old...new windows are good!).

My mom is coming again tomorrow to help finish things up in the house. She's worried that I'll go into labor at any time and that we won't have everything ready.

This weekend, I'm working on packing our hospital bags. It seems so unreal - packing hospital bags, painting nurseries, thinking about delivery. Now it's just down to waiting.

Please pray that I won't worry. I know God will take care of me through the waiting and through delivery. I pray for strength and guidance.
